Tennis Humor -- Check Out The Tennis Jokester
There's a tennis comedian prowling the courts. And, the amazing thing is that this tennis jokester can serve 130 miles per hour and is good enough to make it all the way to the US Open Finals before losing to Roger Federer.
I'm speaking of course of the hottest new player on the ATP men's professional tennis tour --- the Serbian sensation Novak Djokovic.
Djokovic made fans at this year's US Open not only for his spectacular play, but for his tennis wit and humor. Actually, it's his imitations of fellow players which have the tennis world keeling over in laughter.
After one of his matches, Djokovic was goaded into performing his unique brand of tennis comedy in front of the crowd and the television audience. He did brilliant imitations of Maria Sharapova and of his fellow competitor on the men's tour Rafael Nadal.

But, Djokovic can imitate other players as well and he demonstrated this on the practice courts in London this summer. You can check out his impersonations of fellow pros such as Lleyton Hewitt, Andy Roddick, Pete Sampras, and Goran Ivanisevic.
Judging from this youtube video, you wonder when the Serbian tennis ace practices. He seems to be a one man tennis comedy act on the practice courts.

More Djokovic Impersonations
Probably what makes Djokovic so popular is that the tennis world is pretty private. Fans really don't have much of an inside sense of what the players are really like. The top players are all so media savvy and know how to handle the press. Not to mention that most of the world's top players do not speak English as a first language and, for all we know, they could be saying the most incredible things in their native languages.
So, Novak Djokovic is a breath of fresh air on the men's tennis tour. Maybe, right now instead of practicing serves, he's practicing his next batch of side-splitting tennis imitations.
